Production facility of Trinseo Compounding put in use

How nice is it to see a happy client start using a building you have had the honor to design! The users of the production facility of Trinseo Compounding are very happy with their stimulating new work environment with offices, laboratories, changing rooms and canteen.

Trinseo and Katoen Natie have joined together to realize a new smart production facility for plastics in an existing hall in Hoek, Terneuzen. From a total engineering order, Broekbakema was able to design and execute the hall with partners Tielemans, Huygen and Multical in an extremely short time frame.

Broekbakema was also responsible for the aesthetic guidance during construction and the design of the interior. The interior was based on the house style that was also designed for Trinseo Headquarters.

The end result of the Compounding is an oasis: amidst a very industrial landscape, one is surprised by a representative office building with an inspiring green and homely interior.
