Workshops Ashram College in Alphens Nieuwsblad

Workshops for students of the Ashram College were featured in Alphens Nieuwsblad last week. ‘What does an architect do?’ was the first in a row of ten workshops for pupils of the Ashram College in Nieuwkoop. Project coordinator Willeke van de Groep was asked to share her experiences together with general contractor Vink + Veenman and the Metal School Nieuwkoop. The students toured the construction site and were then asked to design part of their schoolyard: the southern terrace overlooking the canal, where students will be able to enjoy their lunch breaks.

Upcoming workshops will be held with suppliers, advisors and even the fire brigade, according to the Alphens Nieuwsblad.
