Central Expedition Van Nelle Factory

The Central Expedition of the Van Nelle Factory will house approximately 4500m2 of workspaces, office and meeting areas for Offices for You. Ranging from small-scale start-ups to housing medium-size companies, its all possible in this inspiring working environment. Service and meeting are central to the design, which is why a social space and a small supermarket are being realized in the building. Broekbakema has designed the building permit for the renovation of the Central Expedition in conjunction with engineering office Nelissen in a BIM environment.

As the owners of the Van Nelle Factory, Virgata is housing a large and varied profile of functions and companies. Broekbakema has been the coordinating architect for renovations to this UNESCO World Heritage since 2018.
