Anyone walking around can tell right away: this isn’t just about hockey, but about coming together, getting opportunities, and being part of something bigger.

As the main sponsor of Hockey Club Feijenoord, we are proud to continue our partnership with the club. For us, this partnership is about much more than just hockey. It’s about building connections in the neighborhood and offering children a place where they can grow.

It is precisely this role in the community that makes Hockey Club Feijenoord a valuable partner for us. At Broekbakema, we believe that strong communities are created where people meet, collaborate, and feel seen. That conviction is reflected not only in the way we design buildings, but also in how we engage with initiatives in the city and its neighborhoods.

Feijenoord Hockey Club is a true neighborhood club in Rotterdam-Zuid. Here, children and young people find an accessible place to play sports, make new friends, and develop themselves. Through training sessions at and outside the club, partnerships with schools, and neighborhood activities, the club makes hockey accessible to a wide range of children, including those for whom playing sports isn’t a given. This creates a place where fun, talent development, and a sense of community go hand in hand.

With the extension of our title sponsorship, we continue to build together a club that uses sports as a force for connection in the neighborhood. It makes it extra personal that our colleague Aldo Vos is an active member of the Feijenoord Hockey Club and that his children are growing up here.
