Circular House is visibly growing

The Brightlands Chemelot Campus has undergone visible changes in recent months. Whereas in 2023 we won the tender and, together with our partners, put the finishing touches to the permits and design, there is now a building under construction that is gaining more character every week.

Circular House, part of Brightlands Circular Space, will soon be a place for meeting, co-creation, and innovation. Here, companies and knowledge institutions will work together on the future of circular plastics and the move toward a zero-waste society, a bold ambition that is reflected in every detail of the design.

Earlier, we assessed the 1:1 mock-up of the facade on campus, an important moment in which the materialization, color, and detailing came to life. That preview is now taking shape in real life: the facade structure is becoming visible and the roof construction is now complete.

Inside, work is in full swing on the finishing touches. The installations are already in place and the bridge connecting the Meet & Experience Zones has been installed. Anyone who steps inside immediately senses how the future heart of the campus is unfolding: light, open, and inviting.
