“By re-using existing buildings, we’ll spare more room for nature. ”

A structure comes to life when it is being used. It is fascinating for me to see the different layers of time, how people treat the space around them, and how they leave their mark. There is so much built environment already. In order to make room for nature, I believe that we must first take a look at the existing architecture, adapting it or repurposing it. I enjoy working on transformation projects, searching for the balance between preserving the historical value of a building and responding to the needs of today’s users. It’s about creating a responsible design that allows future generations to leave their own mark.
